The IDE 2.0

You don't write code anymore. You orchestrate it.

Ship is a workspace where you pilot your Claude sessions, review the diffs and ship — every ticket wired to its own worktree, session and context. The editor is no longer the center. You are.

01 The pivot

Start from a ticket, not a file.

Click a ticket and Ship prepares its worktree, opens its Claude session, and every widget — explorer, diff, CI — snaps to it. Claude reports its progress back to the ticket. Everything stays in sync, both ways.

01

Emit

Pick a ticket — it broadcasts on the shared channel.

02

Receive

Explorer, terminal and diff refresh to that ticket's worktree.

03

Both ways

Claude pushes its session state back, so the ticket reflects progress live.

02 Your desks

Compose your own desks.

A desk is just a set of widgets you arrange yourself. Make one per moment of your day, name it, switch with ⌘1–4. This is one dev's setup — yours will look nothing like it.

Dev ⌘1

Fire up Claude sessions on the day's tickets.

Test ⌘2

Run it, watch CI, poke the live preview.

Review ⌘3

Read the diff, commit, open the PR.

Stats ⌘4

Throughput, timeline, what shipped.

+ Add a desk

Name it whatever fits how you work.

03 The widgets

Everything is a widget. Bound to your ticket.

Anything that fits a panel is a widget — and it follows the selected ticket. Connect a source and drop the widgets it unlocks.

Work 10

Claude-code

Interactive Claude Code terminal, bound to a ticket.

Claude Agents

The subagents running in the ticket's session, live.

Explorer

Git Diff

Unified or split diff of the ticket's repos.

Git Action

Commit, push and open PRs across linked repos.

Git Tree

Base branch and the ticket branch forking from it.

Git Repos

Ticket worktrees: status, push, finish.

CI / Pipelines

CI runs on the ticket's branch (GitHub + GitLab).

Docker

Containers, logs, exec — the ticket's Compose.

Browser

Embedded browser that follows the service's URL.

Stats 3

Jira Timeline

Priority-sorted timeline of your tickets.

Ticket Stats

Resolved, in progress, linked Claude sessions.

Recent Activity

Live feed of ticket changes.

New widgets ship every month.

04 Connectors

Plug in your tools. Each one unlocks its widgets.

Connect over OAuth — no API keys to copy around. Tokens stay in your OS keychain. The more you connect, the richer your desks.

05 Security & privacy

Your keys, your code, your machine.

Ship is local-first. Your repos, tickets and diffs never leave your Mac — and we never see your credentials.

Nothing leaves your machine

Code, tickets, diffs and Claude sessions all run locally. They don't transit through our servers — there's nothing for us to store or leak.

Your keys stay with you

Jira, GitHub and GitLab tokens live in your OS keychain, encrypted by the system. They stay on your machine and are never sent to Ship.

Your Claude plan, not the API

Ship drives Claude Code with your own Claude subscription — Pro or Max ($20 / $100 / $200 a month). No Claude API key on your machine, no pay-per-use, no surprise bill.

GDPR by design

Minimal personal data, kept on your side. OAuth connections you can revoke anytime, a sandboxed app, and privacy built in from the start.
